The text is inspired by the teachings of the best and finest teacher ever ILYA MUSIN (Kostroma 1904 – St. Petersburg 1999) in whose school YURI TEMIRKANOV, VALERY GIEGIEV, SEYMON BYCHKOV, RUDOLF BARSHAI, VASSILY SINAISKY, TUGAN SOKHIEV, TEODOR CURRENTZIS learned their craft.

In this opus, the Italian ENNIO NICOTRA, student and assistant of Musin, has finally organized the fundamental principles of his school, rendering them available to students, university professors, orchestral conductors, musicians and music lovers.
